Situated on the western extension
of the Tibetan Plateau, surrounded by a majestic fortress
of barren mountains, perched halfway between earth
and sky at a height of 6000 metres, there lies an
ancient Himalayan Kingdom: Ladakh - The Land of
High Passes.

Though a high altitude cold desert,
Ladakh is home to an enchanting heritage and culture
that are unique in the world. In days gone by, weary
travellers on the Silk Route often stopped in this
region for a brief respite from their perilous journey.
Today, we invite you to come and share of the same
magical experience...

We are a traditional, family-run Ladakhi establishment,
operating in the hospitality industry in this region for
the past many years. Situated close to the heart of Leh,
The Padma Guest House & Hotel provides its residents with
a charming blend of the old with the new. We strive to make
available to our guests every possible comfort that they
may wish for, all within a setting that is typically Ladakhi.

In the course of performing our duties as professional hosts
for over two decades, we have met innumerable friends from
literally every corner of the globe. It would delight us
to be given an opportunity to serve you too.
